- I am new to the scanning world. In my new scanner's book, there's a frequency
- allocation list which contains the following:
-
- 806.000 - 816.000 Domestic Public (Mobile)
- 816.000 - 821.000 Mobile Trunking
- 851.000 - 861.000 Domestic Public (Base)
- 861.000 - 866.000 Base Trunking
-
- Could someone tell me what the above terms mean? who is using the above
- frequencies? what is in between 821.000 - 851.000 and 866.000 - 902.000? (is
- that cellular!) Is there an up to date frequency list on the net?

- Also I would like the mods for the pro-2006. I already tried removing
- D502 on the front panel and it gives back 800Mhz stuff but what does
- D504 do? I hear the unit can be modified to scan faster and to have
- up to 1600 channels. Any help would be appreciated. I remember reading
- about these mods here before but that was before I bought my unit.
